PURPOSEFUL Creating real-life impact for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Metaverse
Mastercard wanted to build on their commitment of the LGBTQIA+ community for Pride Month in 2022. Partnering with Live & Breathe, the Mastercard Pride Plaza was built in the Metaverse world ‘Decentraland’. Over a series of virtual experiences, Mastercard’s omnichannel campaign, ‘Your True Self is Priceless’, created a space for community members to connect, learn, and celebrate the power of embracing and living as your authentic self.
